About IQAC
In pursuance of its action plan for performance Evaluation, assessment, accreditation and quality upgradation of institutions of Higher Education, The National Accreditation and Assessment council, Bangalore proposes that every accredited institution should establish an IQAC as a quality sustenance measure. Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC will become a part of the system and promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalisation of quality culture and devise strategies to ensure quality sustenance. The prime task of the IQAC is to initiate, plan and supervise various activities in order to increase the quality of the education imparted in the educational institutions. DNR Govt Degree College for Women, Palakol was accredited by NAAC in 2006 for the first cycle and in 2016 for the second cycle with B grade. The college has a committed IQAC.
Goals of IQAC
The primary aim of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic performance of the college.
The IQAC will provide greater clarity and focus in institutional functioning towards quality enhancement and facilitate internalization of the quality culture.
The IQAC will contribute towards enhancement and integration among the activities of the college and institutionalize many good practices.
