HISTORY OF THE CHEMISTRY DEPARTMENT
The department of chemistry is one among the 14 academic departments oftheSRIDNRGDCGovernmentcollegeforwomen.Thechemistrydepartment was established in the year 2006.
Departmentofchemistryhasbeenrunningwithfullpledgedlabequipment. The spirit of pride in the tradition of chemistry departmentshared by generations of alumni, many of whom have become leaders in academia, famous drug companies, industries viz., and doing Masters in chemistry discipline.
B.Sc, course was introduced in the year 2006 with Mathematics, Physics and chemistrycombination.Later,in2009-2010,introducedB.ScgroupwithBotany, Zoology and chemistry combination. The following staff worked as faculty members in the department of chemistry.
